The Latin America Media Arts Fund announced today four winners to support innovative film and video artists who are living or working in Mexico, Central and South America. Each will receive $10,000 in grants and guidance.
This year's jury consisted of Benicio, Paola Mendoza and Mónica Lozano. The awards announced today included Juan Mejia's The Battle for Land (Columbia), Violeta Ayala's Cocaine Prison (Bolivia), Alba Mora-Roca's Toys (Mexico), and Taira Akbar and Heidi Brandenburg's When Two Worlds Collide (Peru).
