Film critic Brian Tallerico made a list entitled

"The Ten Greatest Films of Steven Soderbergh"

and placed The Argentine and Guerrilla ("Che")

at number 6 while Traffic is at number 2 on said list.

Here's what Mr. Tallerico had to say about "Che":

"Oh, Che. The lengthy, heated debates I've gotten into

about Soderbergh's epic about the failure of revolution

are one of the reasons I love it. When someone tells

me they hated Che, I smile. It's one of the few films

of the last few years that I think is honestly worthy of

discussion. You were bored during the second half

of Che? What if you were supposed to be? It's a film

about the fizzling out of the passion required for

revolutionary action. I think Che is remarkable in its

construct with each driven action of the first half

matched by apathetic failure in the second half.

With Benicio Del Toro giving arguably the best

performance in all of the Soderbergh films (if it's

not this one it's probably the one he gave in Traffic),

I find Che mesmerizing. With critics and movie goers

constantly telling me that they wish more filmmakers

would take honest risks, I feel like we need to support

experiments like Che. You say Che was a difficult film?

What if it was supposed to be? Shouldn't the life of

someone as complex as Che Guevara be more

than disposable entertainment?"

Last September 14th, the New Beverly hosted

a double feature bill of John Landis' classic

An American Werewolf In London along

with the documentary Beware The Moon:

Remembering An American Werewolf In London.

On hand for the Q & A session was Rick Baker

and once questions went to the audience, the subject

of The Wolfman was literally the first thing asked about.

Mr. Baker said "I actually think the new Wolfman is

going to be really cool. I'm serious. It was hell to make

and it was very difficult, but I think it's going to be really

neat. I saw an earlier version of it and I was quite excited

by it. It's an old school gothic horror movie,

which is what got me in the business."

Universal Orlando's plans for its annual

Halloween Horror Nights this year include

Ripped From the Silver Screen, a series of

live shows and haunted houses that celebrate

both new and classic horror films. The event will

promote the launch of The Wolfman, among others.

For the first time in Universal's 19 years of

Halloween Horror Nights, guests will be able

to "relive" two films that are yet to be released

in theaters (The Wolfman and Saw VI).

"Halloween Horror Nights is the perfect launch

for The Wolfman," says producer Scott Stuber.

"The horror audience is one of the most enthusiastic

and loyal, so we are pleased they [will] experience

it first at Halloween Horror Nights."
