Benicio arrived in São Paolo, Brazil, yesterday to promote The Argentine and Guerrilla at the São Paolo International Film Festival, which was held from October 17th to October 30, 2008. An extra screening of The Argentine and Guerrilla is being shown today at 6:10 PM, at the Cinesesc cinema.

Benicio is one of the actors who were interviewed for the documentary Creature Feature: 50 Years of the Gill-Man. The documentary will be shown starting Friday, October 24 through Thursday October 30, 2008, at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater, located at 155 East 3rd Street, at Avenue A, in New York City.
"If I had to pick one monster that moves me aesthetically, it would be [the Gill-Man]," Benicio praised. And he credits the film with "turning me on to acting."
Director Matthew Crick and writer Sam Borowski are expected to attend the screenings.

The event will take place on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 8:30 PM. at the NFT1 Studio.

Both films will be shown on Saturday, November 1st at 6 PM at the Grauman's Chinese Theater, located at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Benicio will attend the 32nd Mostra International Film Festival in São Paulo, Brazil, which is being held from October 17 to October 30, 2009. Benicio will arrive on October 30th for the premiere of The Argentine and Guerrilla and will be leaving the following day, after participating in the closing ceremony.
