More details about Savages:
Mia Maestro will play Benicio's wife in the film, which is about
a couple of Laguna Beach-based pot growers who find themselves
unexpectedly involved with a Mexican drug cartel. Ms. Maestro's
character is a soccer mom with a hidden gang-life past.
Salma Hayek is playing the Mexican cartel queen-pin Elena,
while Benicio will play Lado, the vicious cartel enforcer.
Demián Bichir will play a two-timing attorney
who works for Elena's cartel.
Blake Lively will play the shared girlfriend of pot growers
Ben (Aaron Johnson) and Chon (Taylor Kitsch), who are forced
to work with (and against) the cartel when she is kidnapped.
